Abstract<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This website is the design part of Freud Oulon Interactive Qualifying Project<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> (IQP), Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) [1]. WPI is pioneer of Project Based Learning (PBL), IQP is one of the three project required for earning a Bachelor of Science degree, aiming at cross section between social sciences and engineering design. The explicit purpose of this IQP project was to build a website to attract youth in the STEM fields while disseminating the work done at the Center for Wireless Information Network Studies (CWINS), WPI. The implicit purpose is to design a methodology for making a web biography, as opposed to a traditional written biography, for any academician. A web biography narrates a life story through multimedia content, while a traditional written biography present the same in a book or an article. The subject of the biography is Kaveh Pahlavan <\/mark><\/a>, a professor of ECE\/CS and the founder of Center for Wireless Information Networks (CWINS), WPI, established in 1985 as the first academic research program in wireless local area networks, commercially known as Wi-Fi [2,3]. The project report, which contains the rationale for the various design decisions and general remarks on the demands of web biography, can be found here<\/mark><\/a>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
