Personal Life:

Sports

I began serious sports in volleyball from my teenage years and through my college days in Iran. Later on, I continued some recreational activities in the US. After the volleyball era, I began tennis and ballroom dancing.

Volleyball:

I began playing volleyball in middle school and in my first competition my team at Takhteh Jamshid high school won the second place in all Teheran middle schools when I was an eight grader.  During my college time I played for the University of  Tehran to win two college championships (1972&1973) and one second place (1974).   During this time I was also playing first division (to eight) volleyball club championships for Peykan (later Shahbaz) that placed third, fourth, and fifth places (1971, 1972, and 1973).  In the US I played in a recreational volleyball team and Bay State games in Boston area before I begin tennis followed by ball room dancing.
